Bryon was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1989, having obtained his LLB (Dean's List) from the University of Alberta. Bryon has a successful general litigation practice with an emphasis on insurance-related litigation, general civil litigation and personal injury.  He is also actively involved in professional sports and Sports Law representing professional athletes, and is a registered agent with the NHL Players Association.   He has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta as well as having significant experience with Alternate Dispute Resolution including mediation, negotiation and Judicial Dispute Resolution.

Bryon is a member of the Insurance and Civil Litigation Sections of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Defence Lawyers.  He is also a director of Edmonton Oilers Alumni Association a member of the U of A Golden Bears Alumni Association. 

Before his career in Law, Bryon spent 12 years as a player, coach and general manager in professional hockey in both Canada and the United States.
