Michael Simons works with clients involved in the purchase and sale of both residential and commercial real estate.  He also deals extensively in corporate and incorporation matters, commercial financing and business transactions such as business purchases and sales, and mergers and acquisitions.  Michael also assists clients with their estate planning needs including the preparation of wills, enduring powers of attorney, personal directives, and also provides legal services involved in the administration of estates.

Michael is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Mortgage Loans Association of Alberta, and the Canadian Bar Association including the Business Law, Real Property and Wills & Estates sections.

Prior to entering into the practice of law Michael had a six-year career in the post privatization retail and wholesale wine and spirits industry and has been active in several political organizations and campaigns.  Michael is the newest partner with McCuaig Desrochers LLP and assists clients with practical legal advice drawing upon his business and political experience.
