Michael McHugh works with clients who have suffered injuries as a result of accidents, including motor vehicle accidents. With his proven record as a skillful negotiator and over 25 years of experience, he has successfully negotiated favorable settlements for his clients and as a result of this has built his practice on referrals from past and present clients. He has been called upon by professional organizations to speak on various topics relating to Personal Injury Law.

Michael is a member of the Law Society of Alberta as well as the Personal Injury, Civil Litigation and Insurance Sections of the Canadian Bar Association. He has been practicing law in Edmonton since 1982 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in January 2006.

Michael has been partner at McCuaig Desrochers LLP since 1992. He is also a trained mediator with the Alberta Provincial Court Civil Claims Mediation Program.
