We are looking for candidates for the following positions:
- Lawyer – Solicitor: including corporate/commercial and business law, wills and estates, and real estate.
- Lawyer – Litigation: including employment law matters, general civil, construction and estate litigation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor or LLB degree from an accredited law school,
- Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta or equivalent Canadian accreditation,
- 3-7 years of experience,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, and
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Our firm strongly encourages professional development and career growth for our lawyers. We provide mentorship (both formal and informal) and training programs to support our lawyers as they progress in their careers. For our formal mentorship, each associate lawyer is paired with a partner as their mentor, with monthly one-on-one sessions to discuss all aspects of practicing law. We also have regular “lunch and learn” meetings for associates to learn from experienced lawyers on a wide range of issues, substantive and business-related.
